Not everyone has a Studio Dog. And this has led to some pretty funny chats with artists where I confuse them seven times over, before making myself as clear as mud. (I hope they were funny for the artists too.) … Continue reading Helen Richards | The sheep!
Have you considered a road trip to Bundaberg to see the FOUND! Studio Dog! Exhibition & Art Trail this year? With restrictions easing in Queensland, and satellite exhibition venues in Brisbane, Maryborough and Hervey Bay to visit, September is a … Continue reading Mela Cooke | Layla + Binks
One of my fuels as an artist is an intrigue for landscapes that move me, and that these may not be the landscapes that move you. (What? We don’t all think the same?) Viewing artworks is exactly this for me, … Continue reading Kate Barry | Olive + Leo

Every now and then I will greedily chew up a blog page with positive news, other than the news of the amaaaazing participating FOUND! artists. It was a good day, I had the most solid 3 hours on a piece in the studio that I’ve had in weeks. How are you doing? Are you saying out loud “it’s all great, as artists we’re used to being on our own, working away” … Continue reading Iso Iso Baby
FOUND! artist Lin Martin is a long time friend, once-upon-a-time work colleague, and fellow artist-in-isolation. Lin has taught me much about words over the years, and has helped me craft the questions I plan to ask other fellow artists-in-isolation over the coming weeks and months. Lin’s work spans 40+ years and she’s always shown me it’s okay to be like a dog with a bone when pursuing an idea, and have a bloomin’ good lie down when you’re done or if it’s not working. We both think it’s funny and, as it turns out, essential to have these ferals in … Continue reading Lin Martin | ZeZe + India
